Why a Girl Needs a Dad

by Jessica   Jun 4, 2005

A little girl needs a dad
So he can make her not so sad
To lift her up so high
Almost touching the sky

For him to scare the monsters away
Letting her wake up the next day
Knowing she is safe with him
And not to be afraid of them

A little girl needs a dad
To cheer her up when she is mad
To kiss her boo-boos and make them better
And try once again he would let her

A dad a teenage girl does need
To help her through tough times indeed
To protect her from all the guys
That she really does despise

To keep her the way she should be
And the bad he helps her to see
To drive her where she needs to go
And tell her things she needs to know

A teenage girl needs a father
So she can be the perfect daughter
So she can always feel loved
And never ever feel shoved

A girl needs a dad
So around someone she can be glad
All these things are what you do
Daddy, that's why I need you
