Through Time..She Does Fall..

A ray of sunshine
A glimmer of hope
A bat of an eyelid
A slip down life’s slope
A tiny lifeless breath
A feeling in a toe
A movement from the lips
Is she alive? I want to know
A twitch from her leg
A clutch of a finger
A shiver down her spine
Is this life? That does linger
An attempt at a word
A very small sound
A lift of her hand
Then crashes to the ground
Eyelids fall shut
Now no movement at all
But inside her tiny soul
Through time, she does fall
