Sunshine in the rain

You’re everywhere you’re all that I see
In all ways you mean the world to me
You’re haunting beauty teases my eyes
You are my universe heaven of the skies

Of all the dreams I’ve wished to come true
The one I need the most is of me and you
You came along like sunshine in the rain
You lifted me high expelled all my pain

At times you seem almost too good to be real
I sometimes get frightened by the depths that I feel
But when you’re around my smile burns bright
I love you so much you make life feel right

Yesterdays sorrows are all but a faded memory
I can’t thank you enough for the joy you give me
And I’m sorry if my poems are starting suck
I love you so much for words I am stuck
