Fallen Angel of Music

by Eden   Jun 5, 2005

In the dark he doesn't hide...
...Only watches close.
Hears the whispers of the children...
Sends to them a rose.
And though the thorns may prick the flesh
Of all the innocent kids...
...They lick their wounds and start anew;
And close their sleepy eyelids.

In the dark he calls us near
In the dark to dream.
In the dark he draws a tear
To call us to his fate.
Suns are fading, moon arises...
Kids are waxing; growing old
We all grow to seek who despises
To wreak havoc on all sin.

In the shadow he tells me tales
In the dark I listened...
Close my eyes and hear him well
To hear my new name he christened.
In my room he strokes my head
Tells me, "It's alright."
Kisses me upon my hand
And wishes me goodnight.

When I wake, I feel him near
Singing me a song.
He makes all things seem so clear
The faults within the Light.
Fallen Angel from the Clouds,
Hold me close and tight...
Hold me, speak my name aloud
And sing your sorrow's song.

Through the day he leans in close
Tells me secrets of those I hate...
...I know it's sin, but I can't help
What I know will take me to hell's gate.
Crimson-Black his velvet robes
Billow in unseen wind...
...Wipes away all distractions here
And endeavors to make me need sin.

So here I lie awake at night...
...Just before I sleep...
He makes everything alright...
Just like he said he would.
Such a gentle sweet name as this
To my face he cries...
...Such infamous bloodshed I think couldn't exist...
...From this Lucifer, the Fallen Angel of Music.

A very thought provoking piece, and I have the same question as Heather. Either way, feel free to check out my poems and comment.

Sorta frightening but I love it...amazingly creative and I love the first 2 stanzas, although the whole poem was wonderful. Is the true or just a piece of imagination? 5/5

    Love,
    Heather
