Blossoming Tear

by Eden   Jun 5, 2005

First...
A tear dropped in my hand...
Suspended in the calm winds on tranquility.
Touched my skin for just one second...
Then turned irridescent and hard like crystal.

Second...
The day has no time to drawl...
Crystalized tear still held in the air
Smiling back at me in sadness.
It understands the pain I carry...
The mystery within my dying eyes.

Third...
Night comes upon us, the tear drop and me...
I notice a change in its facets.
Turning green and blue in color, a sprout of yellow flame to bud.

Fourth...
I watch with fascination as this transformation occurs before me.
So swiftly it grows into a flower of heaven...
...But on earth it still remains...

Fifth...
Rotating flora in my palm...still within the wind.
Light shines onto golden leaves...
Vines grow upon my arms and take hold of my soul.

..Now...
The dream I had has come to live.
One so tranquile as this flower of tears...
Drop a tear, make it grow. It will never leave you.
Come to grow fond of your sorrow,
And it will take hold of your heart
And make you like itself.

Ps. I was just curious about the poem on Lucifer....I don't care what you believe in.....I respect you as a person and as a writer, I won't change my opinion on you. At least you look away from conformity =)

    I'm out. Goodnight!
