The little guy (true story)

A ten-year-old little guy
is about to die
he's livin with a fake heart
until she falls apart

he's in the hospital
with his little heart of metal
waiting for another little guy
to pass away, to die

i wanted to give him my own vital organ
so he could replace his metallic one
but i wasn't courageous enough
to do something like that

and today
i learnt he passed away
and i don't know what to do or say
so, for him i pray

dear God,
take care of the little guy
with the heart of metal
but i'm asking you why
you couldn't leave him in his hospital??

but what's done is done
and the little guy is going to move on
in a new place - heaven is its name
where he can start again, with no more pain...

this story is true, the little guy did die this morning (5th of June 2005).
i know the poem isn't really good but i really needed to write down my feelings about him...
