Goodbye Daddy

by Stephanie   Jun 5, 2005

There was this girl who loved her dad,
There wasn't a day in her life where she was bad.
She was always playing, happy as could be,
As her daddy turned crazy, but nobody could see.

It was her birthday, she finally turned six,
She has a clown for her birthday, it did some funny tricks.
As the year went on, her daddy turned mean,
In the middle of the night he took his daughter so nobody had seen.

He took her to a bridge and said he loved her,
And threw her off the bridge, the rest was a blur.
He went over the bridge adn made his jump,
At the bottom of the bridge he lays in a clump.

In a hospital bed the girl awakes,
They explained to her what happened making no mistakes.
She asked for her daddy, but they told her he died,
But they didn't understand how she survived.

She suffered with bran damage and a few broken bones,
She would go live with her mom in a new built home.
Her dad was losing the custody so he committed suicide,
But why did he think his daughter should have also died?
