Phoenix

Phantom of the sky
hearing everything below
on and on i fly
eating on my heart is death
now flames engulf me
i cry out but no one can hear me
exists in dreams to never call again
arise from the ashes
raging heat
in fear others watch
silence is the surrounding world
easily it is broken by the cry of the PHOENIX

    Nicely done. Short, but to the point, I don't think the capitals on the last word help with the style of the poem, but the description is great.

    I like phoenixes. they're my favorite creatures.
