I have been forgotten
You don’t remember me
I made no difference in your life
I’m gone from your memory.

I thought I meant something.
Thought I was worth more than this,
But it’s plain to see I wasn’t
And I’m not the type of person you miss.

You don’t think of me and smile
You don’t miss me and cry.
I’m no more significant than
Someone you once passed by.

Please forgive my selfishness,
I’ve been forgotten and don’t know what to do
And I know I’m nothing special,
But I didn’t forget you.
