She stands in the rain
so no one knows shes crying
she smiles so no one
knows that inside shes dying
she just smiles and gives a wink
and no one would ever think
thats inside this beautiful young girl
all these depressing emotions whirl
they judge her by just looking at her past
they look at her and judge her too fast
they laugh and joke about her each day
people hurt her with the words they say
they don't know what they do
they don't know what shes going through
she locks herself in her room to pray
that he'd be hers again someday
the only person who ever cared
now isn't even there
and everything else has got taken away
and no one tells her i love you each day
and now hes moving on
and he says she should too
but how can she just forget
all they love she thought she knew?
he acts like shes nobody
nothing to him
she fights for his attention
but she knows she cant win
so she starts to give up
but then she hears him say
i miss you more and more
with every single day
shes not gonna let him bring her down
shes not gonna let him see her frown
shes gonna be strong and hold her head high
because everything he ever said was all a lie
she'll look at him and give a little smile
to let him know shes OK for a while
she doesn't want him to think shes obsessed
she cant let him know that shes always depressed
so she'll act OK and be a fake
just because the pain she cant take
