Just a Child

Everyone tries to cover things up
they say I'm just a child
but when they do those things to us
they make our thoughts more wild

we strive to uncover the untold things
the secrets they have kept
they need to understand our ways
its something they need to accept

for when we don't learn things from them
but from what we hear
we lose all sense of self-control
and let our emotions steer

so when you think we need to know
these things not sweet and mild
please just tell us, but whatever you do
don't say "your just a child"
