I cried then...I cry now...

I came home and i cried.
i cried for the times i thought we'd share.
i cried for the future i saw with you, as it just passed me by.
I cried...for the pain was unbearable.
I cried tears not from my eyes but tears from my heart.

i cry as i feel the warmth leaving my heart.
i cry as i feel life being taken away.
i cry and cry and as i do i close my eyes and pray.
i pray to the one who looks over me .. to grant me with serenity to mend my breaking heart.
Strength to be able to face another day with a smile and hope.
Hope for the best is yet to come.
