Sand Castle

by ¤|Æ’lοяεηζîά|¤   Jun 7, 2005

The sand castle on the shore,
Waves are washing it away,
Eating it piece by piece,
No longer shall it stay.

The sand castle on the shore,
Prepared to be knocked down some day,
Water swallowing the castle into the sea,
No longer shall it stay.

The sand castle on the shore,
Sigh, it wasn’t made out of clay,
All I worked so hard to build,
No longer shall it stay.

Even I try hard to grab it tight,
The sand still slip away from my fingers,
…I’m giving up this fight.

((This poem describes how your world is falling apart, no matter how hard you try to keep it together. Just like how the sand castle is breaking apart but you can’t stop it, the sand will just keep slipping away.))

PLEASE VOTE AND COMMENT, MEANS SO MUCH TO ME. THANKS!

Wow...what a great way to put it. I love the comparison to life's downs and sand castles...creative. I think the ending was a little rough but still very good! I enjoyed this piece very much!! :)
