As time goes by I just need to stop and think. Cuz I feel like a chain with a missing link. All the times you told me you cared, and all the times you told me you loved me. Just cuz you left me doesn't put you above me.
I wish you could feel the pain I'm going through, the pain of a broken heart. Why couldn't you have been there more and really played your part?
Your moving on like nothing happened, but here I sit alone in the dark. I can't seem to release myself from this trap that love has set for me, why won't it let go, and set me free?
