Hello dad, the one I used to look up to;
Where did the man I once knew run off to?
The one who used to call me his baby girl;
The one who said “I love you.”

All the days we used to play around together;
Just fading memories I cant hold onto anymore.
All the laughs we shared turned into insults;
And we can’t go back to what we had before.

You aren’t what I thought you were;
My hero has been slain and has passed away.
With another in his place that I just cant accept;
And now all the memories have faded away.

All the laughs have been erased and replaced;
By the anger you unleash at me.
It feels like I’ve been thrown into a dream;
And I cannot wake and that things are how I wish them to be.
