Things to Do

These are some of my thoughts about doing things
Accomplishment and the satisfaction it brings
The world is so busy getting things done
It seems we’re all constantly on the run

When we get out of bed we have to eat
Then it’s places to go, people to meet
Errands and tasks we have to complete
Keeping us actively on our feet

Most of us have to work at another place
Working hard at a job to keep up the pace
Hustling and bustling, in a raging rat race
Then we go home with some more work to face

I know I’ll never run out of things to do
I just want to do some of the things with you
I think love is a thing of satisfaction
Love is a good feeling, put into action

    This was really nice. I really enjoyed this poem. "The world is so busy getting things done
