Crossroads and Confusion

by the cutting reason of your mistake   Jun 8, 2005

I’m in the middle
Of the crossroads in my life
I don’t know what’s wrong
And I don’t know what’s right
All that I can say is that I wish
That you were here tonight
Here to hold me tight
And make what’s bad go away
Or at least just for today
Because I don’t know what to do anymore
And all I do is watch as my blood and tears pour
Not necessarily just mine, I see your tears pour too
Just as mine do
So please, please, please try to understand
As you always have, be my best friend
And be my lending hand
Since I’m thinking about only being friends
I’m sure you can tell I’m not level headed
But for some odd reason this thought is forever embedded
Although at this very moment
I’m not quite sure if I could do it
Relinquish what we have right now
Because of some confusion
And give to up that vow
That I made to you that night
To sit right here and cut tonight
And make you leave me and find someone new
Because I’m so damn confused and don’t know what else to do
