Paper Is Only Paper

A journal of thoughts,
Is only words,
Written on paper,
Quite like this poem,
It explains how bad you feel,
But the paper cannot feel it,
Because in real life,
Paper is only paper.

If you wrote about,
Cold lonely nights,
When all you do,
Is cry from your wrists,
And accept your life,
To be one big mistake,
This paper cannot re-enact it,
No matter how much emotion,
No matter how much devotion,
You put into it,
Paper is only paper.
