Tears for a Golden heart

We were so very close
it was impossible to get us apart
we knew it would be friends forever
right from the very start.

We did everything together
and you were always there
what people thought of us
we didn’t really care.

When I was all alone
you were right by my side
to help me threw the worst
I know you really tried.

You were my only friend
and it would be hard to see you leave
but no matter the distance
we will always be friends I believe.

One day you looked at me
and deeply asked me why
why I had all trust in you
knowing you always tried.

A tear slid down my cheek
And said "I don’t know how its possible"
as I began to smile
"you saw me when I was invisible."

From that point on
we knew it would last
we would be in each others futures
and cherish every moment of our past.

Until everything went wrong
when god mad a big mistake
instead of taking me
your heart he had to take.

I couldn't sleep another night
knowing that your not there
I cried all day and night
how I looked I didn’t care.

Until I saw you in my dream
how you were smiling up above
how you were so happy
and all your precious love.

Your mother asked me to speak for you
on your final funeral day
I wasn’t exactly shore
if I had anything to say.

I stood up there and remembered my dream
and thought of that very day
god had never made a mistake
so I can finally say.
