Why won't she listen? Doesn't she know what I'm saying,
Does she think this is just a stupid mind game i am playing?
Am i speaking gibberish? Doesn't She understand?
Is she just plain stupid? I am doing all that i can!!
She turns her head, Hands on her hips,
rolls her eyes, purses her lips.
I know trying to get her attention will do no good,
She just doesn't listen, i wish that she would!
She said she's heard this before,
That I'm lecturing her, I just need to tell her once more.
The dangers of this world are too great for a little girl,
She thinks shes older and sensible, But she does not yet know the world.
I should give up, everyone says i should.
I won't even though i know i could...
If she gets hurt or worse, i can't blame me,
