Chamber of Eternal Adoration

by Lauren   Jun 8, 2005

Saving the life of one that was lost
Breathing in death- whatever the cost
The life of this child
Has now been possessed
To save this one's soul
I bring you thy death
Sweet dear child
Thy shall suffer no more
Say goodbye to your loves
The loves you adore
Unfortunate-no, for this is a gift
I give you this now, we call it thy death
No one will love you like I do
No breath will taste quite as sweet
My darling I will consume you
I'm the one you will need
Your tears run like water
But your eyes look like stone
Your hands, how they tremble
You're pale, white as bone
Come closer my sweet
Give your misery to me
I'll be the one
Who takes what you seethe
When in need turn to me
I'm immortal forever-more
I shall be the one
Whom you eternally adore

Dark, sinister and perfectly twisted. Another poem that delves deep into the nightmare realm. I loved the unique viewpoint and the terribly sadistic narrative voice which oozes sinister splendor. Great stuff. Am I right in guessing this is vampire inspired? Or was that just how I read it? 5/5 x Awe inspiring read.
