The Shining Destiny

Awakening to infinite shivers,
Fragmented with unsightly dreams,
Heavily breathing without indulgence,
Tormented by her echoing screams.

His arms seeking; fathoming desperation,
To discover ruffled bed sheets by his side.
The minute he walked through the door,
He sensed an ambrosial zephyr from outside.

There she is, sat still on the wooden porch,
His awe aspired by heavenly sweetness,
Pure beauty cast by the nocturnal night,
A reminiscent kismet of devotion nonetheless.

The utopian silhouette, a picture perfect portrait.
Each day, a gift in which was completely devoured,
Inseparable happiness in each others arms tonight,
A decoupage dream with twinkles of blossoming flowers.

"What are you doing, your going to catch a cold
"Put on a sweater, and what are you looking at?"
"Nothing at all honey, just the moon and stars"
"Well don't you worry, this house, everything is ours"

"I know its been many years since the crash
And that we don't have a lot of money yet,
But we will get through this don't you worry
I'm trying my best to get us out of this debt"

He embraces his wife, flying her high to the skies,
Gazing at his guardian angel, he waves goodbye,
She was merely a temporary illusion he'd visualized,
This was a marvel he missed; only love can defy.

The only thing forsaken in her memory,
Is a revitalized angel from the skies.
He blissfully puts his daughter to bed. . .
As he sings her soothing lullabies. . .
