A Poem For You

by CHAOTIC   Jun 8, 2005

Calm the storm inside of me
Hold me when it gets too cold
Reach out for me if I'm falling
I need you to complete my broken soul and
Save me from the realms of unreturned love
Tell me that you love me too
On your life, swear to me it's true
Promises are meant to be kept and it
Hurts me deeply inside if you lie
Eventually it will work out in the end and you'll
Rescue me from the cell of loneliness I built

Remember all of the good times
Of our childhood years and recent past
But don't forget about some hard times and
Even though we got through them
Realize that I have forgiven yet not forgotten
Things between us have changed and might never be the same

Loving you is just like breathing
Easy to do and necessary to survive
Never-ending, I'll love you for as long as I live
On my own life, I swear that it's true
