Silent Friend

Silent Friend

Everyday at five o’ clock,
She took her dog for a walk,
Helped her relieve her stress,
Helped her to carry on.

When her world became too much,
When she fought with her mom,
When ever she felt lost,
She’d walk to settle down.

It was the walk they never missed,
Just her and her dog,
A silent friend he was,
But he always cheered her up.

A peaceful state of mind,
Silence filling the air once more,
Her favorite time of day,
Her dog and her just simply walking.

But over flowing in stress,
With a gun in her hand,
She ran out of tears,
And her world never seemed to care.

One pull and her lonely song ends,
Buried beneath the Earth,
Leaving this living Hell,
This girl was miserable at heart.

Her dog remains on Earth,
Now neglected and unloved,
The walk he never missed,
He’ll never get to walk again.
