Quiet Solitude

by Randy Lee   Oct 15, 2003

There is place of quiet solitude
Where I go to work on my attitude.

It?s in the forest so deep and green
Where dark thoughts are never seen.

The sunshine pours down through the leaves
I love to surround myself with trees.

I set on a rock and face the stream
And that?s where I find the very best dream.

In this dream she soothes my fears
She never fails to stop my tears.

She wraps her arms around me tight
And thereby embraces my life.

But the problem with dreams, is you always awake
And then they seem so terribly fake.

Yet this time when I awoke
You were still Here.
