Girl and Boy's life

Little girl just starting grade school went through so much daddy always gone with a ho and mommy always drunk. her and her brother came home one day to find their mommy laying there.. her brother was old enough to know what happened. he took his sister as she started to cry and said it's alright lets go see grandma. they went next door she came to meet them and she told them she already called 911. she didn't think she would make it. she told the police that she came home and the child's dad was leaving covered in blood from head to toe. the kids were devastated. their dad came and got them but they refused to go. the police were watching him as he hit the little boy. the boy started crying. the police who was watching took their dad away in handcuffs and put him in the police car. he was sentenced to life for murder and abuse. the kids lived with their grandma for about a year. she got sick with cancer and had to live in the nursery home for the rest of her life. the kids couldn't live with their grandpa because he was already dead. they had to move to Florida to live with their aunt. they came every year to visit their grandma, but one year they stopped. they wondered why but didn't ask. they talked to one another but no one else. they didn't even answer questions in class. They grew up and they got married and had kids of their own. For 26 years they didn't bring it up until one of their kids asked them what happened to their mom and dad.. they told them all at once. they felt so happy again to get it all out. they cried for an hour after that then they quit till someone asked again.
