What He's Doing

I was a bit weary of him at first,
But he said he wouldn't hurt you so I took his word.
Now he seems to have forgotten what he said,
And is slowly breaking your heart.
You can try to tell me that you'll be fine,
"I'm just over reacting, being too clingy, I'll be fine, he's not that bad; honest" You can say till you're blue in the face,
But I can see through all your fake smiles and those lies.
You don't need to lie to me,
I can see what hes doing,
All the hurt and pain hes causing you,
You don't need to hide your tears in front of me.
Amazing, gorgeous, talented is just a few things you are,
He's taking you for granted,
Not appreciating how great you truly are.
I can see what he's doing to you,
All the damage hes causing,
All this built up tension.
You know what I think you should do,
But just follow you're heart and I know things will turn out fine.
