Where would you be?

What if?
by sami

If tears would never dry,
And pain would never seize,
If mountains learned to cry,
And we slept without our dreams.

If words were never spoken,
If we could hear the dead,
If we could’t feel the ocean,
And "I love you" was never said.

If there were no such thing as passion,
And comfort didn't exist,
If lightening never happened,
And thunder rolled when people kissed.

If lips contained a poison touch,
And paths were never crossed,
if I didn’t miss him oh so much,
Because every memory has been lost.

If my heartache would ever fade away,
If those eyes hadn’t once looked at me,
Then there’s one question I must say...
Where I ask, would you be?
