Come to Me, Little Children

Called to fall and known to cause fear
Raped and blood drawn down the coldest tear...
Printed on paper then torn once again
Then soaked by Blood in the softness of pain
Knives in children corrupt human hearts
Everything created is now falling apart...
Smiles fail to harken the lights
And lights of children won't entertain for plights...
Pitiful angels now walking the land...
Their broken wings unable to stand
Broken and bleeding are these children's eyes...
...Sucked dry by those who have given them lies.
Freedom lies in the heart of freedom
For therein lies the ability to survive.

Bereft of all that happiness gives
Hoarse where they are struggling to live
Screaming and crying, no tears will come
As they stare sobbing at the new glorious sun.
Now I see where this hand goes
Everything I do is what She knows
I will be what I can be
To make these precious children see.

So come little Child, and come to be you
Transform into what you know you should do
Violence, drugs, drinks and pain
Are all tools that lead to disdain
So drop the agony you harbor within
And transform into your brightly dark skin.

Come to me and come to us
Sing to the world...cleanse your throat of puss
Things are not as harsh as they'd be
If only you'll drop the candle and see
Nothing lives forever anymore
Nothing shines along life's shore
So breathe my essence strong and deep
And sleep tonight without sorrow's keep.
