I Waited

I waited for you today
Standing in the pouring rain
Why didn't talk to me
You cause me so much pain

I couldn't wait to see you
But you just walked on by
Why couldn't you just say hello
Or even a simple goodbye

I needed you today
Just to notice me
Why couldn't you just say my name
Is this how we're meant to be

I wanted you today
Just to see your face
Why couldn't you just look at me
Instead, you left me in the race

Like a bird, yearning for freedom
I wanted to show you my love
To be with you and not be judged
But it's not up to me, it's up to God above

    Not a whole lot can be said to criticize how you felt when writing this....it seems obvious that it contains spur of the moment emotions and feelings, not to mention thoughts that travel deeper than just the surface, with the help of control your words could relay such strong themes and messages i'm sure millions could relate to.....well written, minor errors from my point of view, only one actually.....best of luck in the future,
    ps - not all people are even worth waiting for in the end
