Just a Dare...

It was supposed to be for a dare,
just to ask you out,
then to dump you and laugh,
a joke, thats what it was all about.

you gladly accepted,
without knowing it was a dare,
we went out for two days
i acted like i cared.

then on the third day,
i needed to dump you,
then run off with my mates
laugh and act cool.

but before lunch,
you leaned over and kissed me
my heart fluttered, my mind spun,
my love had just been set free

suddenly feelings began to rush out,
and my love began to explode
i started feeling for you,
i was in love mode!

i couldn't go on through it,
so i didn't dump you,
instead i cherished every moment,
i had fallen too!

after the long-lasting kiss,
i smiled and blushed,
you smiled back, went with your friends,
i couldn't keep it hushed.

i saw you again,
and you had a funny look in your eye,
you walked up to me and said "its over"
"not every player is a guy!"
