Stray

by Daniel Mulvany   Jun 10, 2005

When falling from the Heavens,
Let these wings carry you home.
Lay here serene upon soft linens,
Let not love forbid you roam.
But if your heart be made to wonder,
And stray, do you from me,
Be not, dear, left to wonder,
If my love be still for thee.
For 'til, when I'm decrepit,
Weary, one foot in the grave,
My love for you will be intrepid,
Sultry in ravish and rave.
