Gentle breeze blow...

by summer   Oct 16, 2003

Gentle breeze blow,
And take me with you so,
Take me to a faraway land,
I'd like to stay there till the end.

I want to be free from stress,
And say goodbye to distress,
There my anger will never erupt,
Nor shall I see people corrupt.

I see it breeze, we're getting near,
This is where I shall never fear,
Blow harder please, I cannot wait,
Take me straight to the golden gate...

I lie on the soft green grass,
Beside the lake as clear as glass,
The sparkling water calmly flows,
Dragonflies linger where white lilies grow.

I faintly hear a tune of my taste,
Where harps and flutes come into place,
I see from afar little children play,
Their faces shining, they're merry and gay.

The sky above me so very blue,
'Tis where justice does ever rule,
Every cloud has a silver-lining,
So every matter has a way of solving.

The wind picked up and started blowing,
Trees around me were secretly whisp'ring,
I curiously wondered what they were up to,
For I did not have a single clue.

Then I realised with a frown,
I was not on the ground,
What was this? Some kind of dumb joke?
Then everything vanished in a puff of smoke.

That was nothing but just a dream,
I wanted to shout and give a scream,
Oh tell me where is the faraway land,
Gentle breeze please do lend a hand.
