She Has a Name

by Poetically Speaking   Jun 11, 2005

What's the easiest way out of this place,
Which door do I go through,
when I mask my broken face,
Who can I turn to.

It looks as though the shame is here to stay,
I'm lost in this dark place,
I hide my soul to keep it away,
who do I turn to when I unmask my face.

Who can I turn to,
who will really see the person I am,
I once loved her truly,
Now I see that loves a sham.

There is no love here,
there is no pain,
there is no me here,
there is only shame.

I'm unforgiven ,
These sins I'm trying to fix,
I'm trying to forgive her,
but shes still playing her tricks.

Who can I turn to now,
When I don't make a sound,
When I forgive her,
I don't want her to come back around.

In this place it eats the pain,
it eats the colors,
it eats the shame,
I want to tell her,
I want to blame,
I want to forgive
I'm tired of this game.

And in this place it's as dark as hell,
it still remains in me,
the memories still dwell,
There is no love here,
there is no pain,
there is no me here,
I've gone insane.
