The story of his life

Once there was a boy
So happy and so great
He was always full of joy
A boy you couldn't hate

He lost his sister and brother
That we thought he would overcome
He had a great girlfriend, he was a great lover
Until he lost his mum

He was placed in foster care
With a happy family
His love he would still share
He was still full of glee

He never wanted more
And he had so much to give
He had been ill before
And his life he would live

Our school arranged a trip
That he had dreamed of all his days
So he took the letter and brought back the slip
He got to go, how exciting, as he always says

He had such a good day
That day in Disney land
He really wanted to stay
Until he needed a helping hand

We wasn't to know what we would have to face
We thought everything was fine
We didn't know his life was a delicate as lace
We were all up on cloud nine

That morning we were told
' Gary's passed away '
I wish he was here to hold
I wish he chose to stay

I wish i was there
To help him through that night
I wish i was there
I would have helped with all my might

Please understand how we all miss you

This is about a boy who died on my school trip to Disneyland, two weeks today, he was only 14 and had so much to give. I miss him so much and i wish i had been there to help him
