Little Bo Peep

by Michael D Nalley   Jun 11, 2005

I used to run with the lost sheep that ran with Little Bo Peep
But she always knew where she could find us
We didn’t want to be alone, before we went home.
Maybe we should atone, and leave our tales behind us

But we must warn, as we have sworn, of the wolves that roam
No need to mourn, we’ve been reborn, safe in our new home
The graceful Little Bo Peep has her faith to keep
In the truth she won’t weep, as she dreams in peaceful sleep

There is no need for our hearts to bleed
The Mighty Shepherd fills every need
He is truth, and truth is beauty
He will help us do our duty

And if any wolf, disguised as a sheep, should lie
The Shepherd will hang their tales out to dry

Very good poem I liked how you turned it into a poem using a nursey ryme and also included god in it yet you could still tell that it was about friendship, very very good poem and keep up the good work! 5/5

awesom, I loved how you took a nursery rhythm of all time, and put it into a work about our Lord Jesus Christ. its also not coincendental that I read this, this morning, when I was having a hard time, with the enemy attacking me, and my beliefs, so God does do things his way.....thank you for sharing, I loved it...please it would be an Honor for someone of your talent, to look at some of my work, and honestly tell me what you think...please look at several of the featured ones, thanks, love ya becky
