And the year's over..

~*At first I was just writing...and as I wrote I realized it was becoming a nice poem...but then when one my friends read it he said it sounded like a graduation song...so yea think of it as a poem, writing, a song, whatever*~

So as the year passes
With memories good and bad
Tears for moments
Both happy and sad
I'll always remember
And I promise not to forget
These few life changing people
This year I had met
Fun times and hard times
From friendships to romance
I'll never forget
Letting go of that chance
So as the year passes
And now I look back
Wondering what happened
And what I lack
Things I have ruined
For myself and others too
With an outcome like this
I guess we all made it through
With new smiles
We can share
With new people in our lives
Who happily care
But I'll never forget this
And I'll never forget you
I promise you sincerely
That this is all true
Feelings we've had
Ones we've shown and we've hid
This is how it all turned out
From all that we did
So as the year passes
I guess we've all moved on
And those feelings we've had
Are now all gone
