Farewell Old Cascade

by Sierra   Jun 11, 2005

Farewell Old Cascade
May your halls fill with new memories
Forever holding the old
The ceilings have heard the gossip
The floors have felt the teardrops
Teaching the timid to be daring
Enduring the difficulty
of being a teen.
The gyms accumulating the beads of sweat
The windows reflecting the laughter

Every year,
It happens again.
The young and the puny enter with fear
The old and the wise wave goodbye
Doors welcome the new faces
Close behind the graduated
Teachers have seen it all
All the mistakes
And all the clumsy falls

But..
My time has gone
Farewell Old Cascade
Thank you for being rough
Showing us how to be tough

[I'm graduating middle school. High school next year. :)]
