Our last embrace.

Something never lost
something never found
to this sadness I've been bound
only love is the cost
Only empty hearts
Has told this tale to tell
Feeling grief as we part
And we all fall to hell
Feeling as though I'm taken
To a life beyond the dead
I must fear your mistaken
MY lost eden, my soul will dread
You tell me to smile
You say as you are dying
It will be awhile
Since I cannot stop my crying.
You promised not to leave.
And to hold me close and tight
I felt your torn sleeve
As you walked onward to light.
I shout and cried on my knees
A small fallen tear
Released my plea's.
I had hoped you hear.
Our sweet last embrace
Holding onto your smiling face
As years passed on, I hadn't forgot
Things have changed .
I have smiled a lot .
You changed my dreams
You changed me
I no longer scream
I can now see.
Thank you my love.
Watching me down below
Or up above.
