When the Grass Turns Green

by Kristen   Jun 12, 2005

When the dry yellow grass
Turns a vibrant shade of green
When every boy becomes king, every girl becomes queen.
When you look outside to see sunlight
And rejoice to see the golden bright
When the chrysalis opens to reveal a butterfly
As their wonderful wings would flutter by
And the crows become swans
Animals on the fresh lawn
The lake sparkling blue
The insects grew...
The dogs play playfully
The cats walk daintily
The laughter sparkling
The bubbles blowing
The river flowing
Must this be only from our thoughts..
This clean world from our dreams...The wondrous worlds for our love and family...

When the dying yellow grass
Turns a Vibrant green
When every boy a king, a girl becomes queen.
