Descending Droplets

by Rolo   Jun 12, 2005

*Free verse, I'm sure most of you won't like it. I just wanted to add a little variety*

The ominous rumblings of discontent
Release the rain unto the Earth
The droplets descend into the open
And trigger immediate chaos

The modest scent of wet dirt
And freshly poured rain
Ignites the memories of a time
when we welcomed the downfall

The simple function of nature,
or a message from God...
The answer lies within
the puddles of mystic purity
