Infatuated with the Unknown

by AynJal   Jun 12, 2005

Lost in a cold fog
Nothing left to hold
Towards you I crawl
A hand full of stones

Mesmerized in those eyes
It's from a memory I hide
A picture tells a thousand lies
Flashes of you, linger in my mind

Kiss my tender lips
Locked by a key and you can't find it
Have I only words of painful bliss?
But it was your kiss that broke a promise

Infatuated with the unkown
I scream at your gravestone
Why do I feel so exposed?
My body trembles, I refuse to be alone

Darkness evaporates the light
Distorted insides, lack of sight
I'd kill just to hold you tonight
But it's only an image
I grasp onto a lie
