Another Breath

by EpithetPoet   Jun 13, 2005

Head pressed to the tile
Kissing the aged grout
No pain to even speak of
Just euphoric spacing out

The twists and swirls of painted life
Seeping through a hollow mind
Decorating the world's outer grey
Pushing passed the heart confines

Muttering of wasted exsistence
Snickering at angsted pain
Breath wispy through cracked lips
As tears drowned out by rain

If words could have been spoken
Her letters would have formed death
If her life had been worth living
She would have taken another breath

i love the entire event of the poem leading up unto the end.

seemingly sweet mixed in with bitter defeat.
