Haunted

by Lydie   Jun 13, 2005

The wolf howls,
The wind blows,
I hear the cry,
Of the shrieking crows,

The crows so dark,
The crows so black,
I don't know,
If I can make it back,

I begin to run,
My pace quickens,
Everything around me,
Thickens,

Until no shadows,
Nothing alive,
I'm worried now,
That I might not survive,

I stop running,
I stand deadly still,
There's someone there,
He's come to kill,

He's trying to find me,
Hunting me down,
I look left, then right,
But I can't see town,

Silence,
No more sound,
I guess that I,
Can not be found,

But that's when I see,
His shadow nearby,
And it's now,
That I, start to cry,

My energy is gone,
And there's nowhere to hide,
No-one could hear my scream now,
Even if I tried,

He's haunted me for so long,
And I've finally given in,
I guess that, the good guys,
Don't always win.
