Her soldier never knew

*its long i no but plz let me no wot u think*

The day she seen him, she knew from that moment on,
She would give all her love and they shall never part,
He never knew he could feel that way,
He thought it would never happen to him
The day she walked throw his door,
He could not speak, he could not even move,
He just stood there staring and thinking she had fallen from heavens door,
She thought he was cute and knowing he was stunned she thought it could be fun,
They dated for a while,
He fell in love with her smile,
He asked her to marry him the night of her 21st
There was no way she would turn him down,
They wed in June,
Soon after that, he was asked to sign up for the war,
He accepted and made her cry,
He did not know how, he did not know why,
But the day he told her she just wanted to die,
She just broke down, she couldn’t tell him about the joy,
He left her a week later, still not knowing what his wife has hid,
He was away at war, when he finally heard the news,
He wondered why she never said a word then he realized had she was hurt,
He wrote home straight away telling her he loved her and wished he was there,
She gave birth to a beautiful baby boy,
The day he found out was the day he lost his life,
A photo of his baby boy and wife clutched in his hand,
The last words they heard him say was I love you each and everyday
She lost the love of her life that day, but she will always remember the words she read that he wrote
‘I love you and hope you never forget and if I don’t come back tell my son that if he ever gets lonely to look to-wards the sky, that’s where I’ll be looking down and I’ll be the bright shining star watching over him. I love you each and every day.’
Her baby boy grew and grew he never really knew the tears his mother shed,
He never really knew the truth about why his father was dead.
