This Night

by Josephine   Jun 13, 2005

This night of the most calm
as the blanket covers the skies,
wrap me with the warmth of your arms
a vision unseen by their eyes.

This night I'll be wishing
my silent whispers of love,
hopes so close to dying,
saved by prayers to the above.

This night I'll be in my fancies,
till dawn I still dream,
I'll forget about the melancholies,
my scars of painful screams.

This night I complete the untruth,
such lies to feed my happiness,
my dream since my youngest youth,
my prince to conquer the darkness.

All my dreams are made of you,
too bad it won't come true.
