Attempts to feel satisfaction
to clear my mind
expecting relief
it's the usual, temporary resolve
but once again I've thought too much
gone deeper into this,
analyzing what wasn't said
it's a heavy burden
becoming paranoia
where to put the blame is unknown
faced with disappointment of the worst kind, but where does it lie
i easily let you in
was met by betrayal, not once, but twice,
time passed, wounds healed, faith renewed
and here we are again
