comprehension dawns and mixed emotions spread
whats going on, how could he do this?
is running through her head
welcome, cold shoulder, make yourself at home
turn me away, make me forget, i don't need him anymore

i look between the two of them
my best friends torn apart again
is this what love is supposed to do
make it stop, cause I'm tearing up inside

this wasn't supposed to happen
it wasn't supposed to be this way
confusion, deception, winding their way in
now its all a memory, he's washing away
like his number on her hand

I'm caught center stage
without an explanation
he told me things he shouldn't have
said he loved me too
i told her everything, what would you do?
