The way of love

I guess this is the way of love
Sometimes you can get caught up in it,
not knowing what is around you,
you fell so deep you don’t know what to do,
love got the best of you,
try not to fall like I did,
with no one at the bottom to catch you,
lying there crying with no one to hold you too,
you get sucked in to depression,
noting feels the same anymore,
your heart was tore,
losing interest in things you use to do,
forgetting the real you,
hiding behind memories,
wanting them to not be a dream,
reaching for his hand,
knowing his is wrapped around hers,
looking at the scares knowing it is real,
wishing at this point you couldn't feel,
you find yourself in a sate of mind,
where your searching for something you can’t find,
looking back at the past,
wanting his love to last,
the thing to do is let go of his hand and watch him walk to her,
the girl you used to be now holding your world,
I will try and be strong,
because I know loving you wasn’t wrong,
sometimes I wish it hadn’t ended this way,
wishing that you wanted to stay,
this is the ways of love,
it may sound bad,
but at the time your not feeling anywhere near sad,
sometimes it has to end,
but for the better,
I will get through this,
but right now having you is my only wish,
I lie here broken and helpless,
looking back at the fun that I had,
not knowing it would make me this sad
crying on the inside,
but faking it on the outside
I guess that is the way of love…
