Mirror Of Sadness

by Lydie   Jun 14, 2005

On the cold day,
Beyond the trees,
Alone is a mirror,
And the mirror sees,

Someone so lost,
And waiting to be found,
Not long now,
Before she hits the ground,

Not long now,
Before there's a tear in her eye,
If things don't get better,
She might say goodbye,

People see her as willing,
As she trudges along,
But no-one can see,
She doesn't belong,

She nevers gives in,
And appears to be tough,
But finally now,
She's had enough,

She won't slit her wrists or try to die,
Because that's not her way,
But sad is how,
She might always stay,

Anyone who will look into,
The mirror will see,
The sad and unhappy girl,
Who is me.

Well exressed indeed. Subdued and final sadness reaches out from it.
